MI-OSA consists of three elected office bearers and voluntary members. The executives direct and supervise the social activities for the chapter and every member of the organization contributes to carry the heritage forward. Our chapter currently has approximately 75 active family members from Greater Detroit area.
The main activities of the MI-OSA chapter include cultural and religious activities. Some of the activities are: Saraswati Puja, Basantotsaba, Picnic, Sri Ganesh Puja, Kumar Poornami etc. Occasionally, our organization promotes Indian culture by inviting world-renowned artists. The Association also provides a socio-cultural platform to the community, which aids in fostering closer ties between its members, enabling us to tap the wealth of cultural talent within the community. |
